Please RSVP by May 27th, as space is limited. New Roast Dates As of Monday May 23rd, 2005 Terroir Select Coffees will be roasting on Monday and Thursday each week. Now any orders placed on the weekend will be roasted and shipped out on Monday, so your coffee arrives sooner. Featured Coffee Our new Daterra Reserve is a unique jewel! This refined coffee is mild, soft, and is very easy to drink. The low-altitude terroir of Brazil’s Cerrado, Daterra’s state of the art farming methods, and a relatively gentle roast all helped to create this delicious coffee. This coffee is now available on our website, http://www.terroircoffee.com. Extreme Freshness Your roasted coffee can last a long time if kept away from oxygen. That is why we carefully pack coffee in nitrogen filled, opaque, one-way valve bags. The turning point comes when you first cut open the bag and consequently reintroduce oxygen to the beans. Beginning whenever the bag is cut open, the beans will generally stay in prime condition for one week. The actual bags are good for storing beans in, as long as you keep the top compactly folded down. If you have an extreme desire to protect the beans, you can put the bag into an odorless, airtight container or zip-lock bag and place the container into your freezer; our tests have shown refrigeration to be less effective. These few small steps help the refined clarity of flavor in Terroir coffee shine.
